THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Terra Cotta Restaurant Review: For a taste of the very best in Southwestern/Contemporary cuisine, Donna Nordin and Don Lurias Café Terra Cotta always tops the list. Executive Chef Donna Nordin is acclaimed both Nationally and Internationally. She has garnered so many awards, she is in whos who of the culinary world. Her use of chilies, cactus, spices and CHOCOLATE, has won both Chef Donna and Café Terra Cotta the best of the best. Don Luria offers an excellent wine list. Start with a Southwest whole leaf Caesar salad with red chile croutons or an excellent garlic custard with warm salsa vinaigrette and herbed hazelnuts. Donnas interpretation of pizza, from the wood burning oven, offers the diner a more casual choice. We like the roasted duck pizza with smoked mozzarella, roasted peppers and herbed feta. You must have one of Donnas chocolate creations. Rich, decadent chocolate mousse pie will give you a lift to brave The Borgatas upscale shops. The staff is excellent, the décor is bright purples and reds, incorporating all the colors of the great Southwest and Mexico. Donna and Don are known for their commitment to culinary groups, fresh organic produce, securing fine wines, and giving back to the community. Enjoy the patio on a warm sunshine filled Arizona day.
