Cafe Zucchero Restaurant Review: Locals flock here each morning for jolting shots of espresso accompanied by freshly baked croissants or other breakfast pastries. You can enjoy them on the tiny sidewalk terrace, a private patio in back or the marble-floor main room. If we're in a rush for lunch, we grab a slice of pizza, one of the meat-filled pastries or a freshly made panino. Traditional Italian fare comprises the dinner menu. Calamari fritti, carpaccio, and caprese salads make for good starters, while entrées include veal Marsala, a medley of pastas, or pan-seared salmon with capers and lemon cream sauce. Desserts range from tempting homemade cakes, marzipan creations and house-made gelato (chocolate-hazelnut, pistachio, coffee). Part of the Busalacchi restaurant group, Cafe Zucchero delivers hospitality along with the authentic Sicilian food in Little Italy.
