California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review

: Wolfgang Puck invented the designer pizza. CPK borrowed the concept and brought it to the mall-shopping masses, who can’t seem to get enough of the noisy, black-white-and-yellow feederies. Every branch of the chain delivers the same formula: hearth-baked pizzas topped with everything from barbecued chicken to hoisin duck, wontons and portobello mushrooms, although we advise skipping the more adventurous (OK, gimmicky) toppings and sticking to basics such as pepperoni, or fresh tomato, basil and garlic. The pastas and salads aren’t bad.
