| Owner George Cameli is a purist, so you won't find any outlandish pizza flavors, and everything is made from scratch, from the dough to the toppings. With 35 pie choices, boredom should be easily avoided. Stuffed pizzas are a specialty --- half a black olive-stuffed pizza is plenty for two --- and solo diners may order a half pie. The "infamous" monster slice comes on Cameli's famous thin crust. While there is a wine list, it's fairly rudimentary; beers and mixed drinks are the quaffs of choice. No desserts are offered. Service can border on the indifferent. Cameli’s adjacent bar continues to draw patrons after the kitchen closes, and offers karaoke on Thursday nights. |
