 Camellia Grill has been a mainstay in New Orleans for so long it could probably just rest on its laurels, but it doesn’t. A prime source of hamburgers, classic breakfasts, zesty chili, fresh-from-the-oven fruit pies and other good diner food, Camellia Grill is iconic to the city. Known for the big personalities of its white jacket-clad waiters, the service is as much theatre as it is quick and efficient. And if you leave without enjoying a slice of apple pie, grilled right in front of you and topped with sweet vanilla ice cream, you haven’t had the full experience. No alcohol is served.
