Campo Restaurant Review: Pork is king at this Reno hot-spot, a rustic Italian eatery from chef and owner Mark Estee. Estee takes the whole hog approach in his cuisine, from the house-made salumi to daily-changing selections on the signature "Pork Plate." Estee believes in using the entire pig in his cooking, and has taught classes to home cooks on how to break down and use the whole animal. Diners will enjoy the setting along the Truckee River from inside at the wooden tables anchored with steel legs or the European-style settees on the patio during the warm months. Fresh, seasonal and local ingredients are a mantra for Estee, and that shines through from the wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas to the house-made pastas, such as the gnocchi. Pair your dinner with a California or Italian wine --- which include offerings on tap --- or with one of the house cocktails, like the Boardwalk with bourbon and spiced stone fruit syrup.
