Canoe Club Restaurant Review: Canoe Club has the feel of a rustic lodge enlivened with the funky sounds of live jazz and blues every night. The menu is all about local ingredients combined in interesting ways. Try the mu shu pork shoulder with Korean scallion pancakes and kimchi, or the house-made sweet potato gnocchi with Gala apple, Cold Hollow cider, McNamara cream and crispy sage. Veal schnitzel is tossed with tangy sautéed cabbage, apple and roasted shallots with whole-grain mustard and McNamara cream. A must is the butterscotch mousse with spiced popcorn brittle. |
