THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cantina Joannafina Y Bar La Luna Restaurant Review:
Live Mexican music and substantial margaritas make the weekends rowdy at this small but fun, brightly colored café in the Paseo Marketplace strip mall. Burritos are huge, stuffed with quality ingredients and topped with nice sauces like Colorado or relleno. The traditional Mexican food can be heavy because it relies heavily on cheese, beans, pork and beef, but there are quite a few vegetarian specials. Many folks swear by the soups: albondigas, shrimp, tortilla, garlic, and even clam chowder. Sunday brunch is a huge hit. During the month of December, they make tamales en masse for taking home to holiday celebrations.
