THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS FOR PRIVATE PARTIES ONLY. Cantinetta at Tra Vigne is a fully functioning California enoteca, featuring many hard-to-find local wines, Napa standards and decent wine selections from other regions. Various flights are offered such as the Napa Lost Varietals featuring a Zinfandel, a Charbono and a Petite Sirah. The Cantinetta's décor is handsome and invites visitors to browse the aisles while sipping wine. Diners can sit outside and order many of the same hearty dishes offered at the restaurant next door (it is much easier to get seated beside the Cantinetta than within the main restaurant). This lovely experience should not be missed, especially for wine lovers visiting St. Helena on a warm afternoon or early evening.
