| When dining on the covered patio of this quaint restaurant, the vibe is reminiscent of an Italian courtyard. Inside, a fireplace adds warmth in the winter; wood paneling and white, linen-covered tables make the space feel welcoming all year round. Start with the grilled eggplant, followed by linguine alla vongole or the piccata di vitello al limone, a very good version of veal scallopine. The chicken lasagna and rich tomato sauce with petite veal meatballs confirm that the owner’s mama truly is in the kitchen each day using authentic Italian recipes. Hospitable servers help diners forget that they are only a few yards from a busy strip mall. A note to families: the restaurant only welcomes children older than sixteen. |
