| Capriccio morphed from a trattoria to a steakhouse with an Italian twist. Black-and-white marble floors, marble-top tables and an exhibition kitchen create an elegantly casual setting. Located on The Peabody Orlando’s first floor, it’s easy to valet park and stroll in the door---but just make sure you call ahead for a reservation to avoid a wait at this busy spot just across the street from the convention center. Steaks and chops are from esteemed Ruprecht’s of Chicago, which for decades has provided the leading steakhouses with their choicest cuts. Fresh seafood and lobster are also available. If you prefer carbs, the menu includes tagliatelle, ravioli and linguine with aromatic sauces. Monthly wine dinners highlight wines from different regions paired with a special menu. The substantial wine list from the Peabody wine cellar offers something at every price point (many by the glass). For the finale, dessert shooters offer just enough sugar to cap the evening. |
