Capriccio Grill Restaurant Review: Black-and-white marble floors, marble-top tables and an exhibition kitchen create an elegantly casual setting at this steakhouse with an Italian twist. Located on The Peabody Orlando’s first floor, it’s easy to valet park and stroll in the door --- but just make sure you call ahead for a reservation to avoid a wait, as Capriccio is a busy spot just across the street from the convention center. Steaks and chops, such as the 20-ounce bone-in cowboy rib-eye and the 14-ounce center-cut pork chop, are simply prepared and come with a selection of sauces, from bordelaise to chimichurri. Fresh seafood and lobster are also available. If you prefer carbs, the menu includes three pizzas (best for sharing as a starter) as well as a handful of pastas with sauces that range from interesting to classic. Wine dinners, held every few months, highlight wines from different regions paired with a special menu. The substantial wine list from the Peabody wine cellar offers something at every price point (many by the glass). For the finale, dessert shooters offer just enough sugar to cap the evening.
