| You can't complain about the service at this funky little fish market and café because there isn't any---you order and pay at the counter, and when they call your number you come back and get your meal. The menu is fresh fish grilled, fried or sautéed, served with your choice of sides. Captain Kidd's is enduringly popular because it's fast, reasonably cheap and good, and the ramshackle dining room with its weathered wooden tables and posters of exotic fish has a seedy charm. The wine selection is surprisingly good for a place of this caliber, and if you don't mind drinking from a plastic cup you can accompany your meal with a nice beverage. |
