Caramba! Restaurante Restaurant Review

: Fun and boisterous, the Mediterranean-influenced Caramba! offers an appealing dining alternative to villagers and visitors seeking good food and quick service in an informal atmosphere. Owner Mario Enero has created a setting designed to impress even those on modest budgets. The high-energy open kitchen dishes up big, soul-satisfying portions of down-home pasta, roasts, and tasty pizzas. Start with the savory baked goat cheese served with a tomato coulis and garlic toast points, or the Caramba! salad of rotisserie chicken on butter lettuce with Thai peanut dressing. Then delve into fettuccine Tofino with seared prawns or the grilled baby trout with bacon-and-onion mashed potatoes. Kids will like the wide selection of aforementioned pizzas and the three-cheese macaroni. Desserts run the gamut from ice cream, apple pie and berry crumble to chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu and crème caramel. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Bad service, bad food. Rotisserie chicken and macaroni and cheese weren't good. Our server were stoned. We brought our complaint to the owner's attention, but he doesn't care.
