Cardini is a popular spot for business lunching and is also a downtown dinner destination. Manager Luigi Volpicelli is a veteran, consummate host, and the marble-clad restaurant, despite its awkward layout, provides a comfortable setting with generously spaced tables. A lovely poolside patio offers a dramatic skyward view of neighboring skyscrapers. The menu features pastas (lobster ravioli with cream sauce, traditional lasagna), steaks, whole baked branzino and soufflés for dessert.
