| Its motto is “Life is short, stay awake for it”---and downtown worker bees can do just that starting at 6 a.m. weekdays at this Caribou located in the skyway. The coffee is lighter than other local haunt Dunn Brothers, but its specialty drinks satisfy both our urge for caffeine and for sweets. We like the Caramel High Rise or Mint Condition paired with a buttery scone or muffin. During the holidays, we can't resist its eggnog-driven Fa La Latte. Meanwhile, during the summer, the iced chai or the creamy, addictive Vanilla Cooler hits the spot. Want to catch up on work during your coffee break? Bring your laptop---there’s free WiFi. |
