| Caribou Coffee Company locations are becoming a ubiquitous part of downtown coffee breaks; is it because the warm, knotty pine interiors are less generic than those of its closest rival? And while the coffee is generally lighter than other local favorite Dunn Brothers, Caribou is our source when caffeine-plus-sweets cravings kick in. Our version of a perfect afternoon snack is pairing the Caramel High Rise or Mint Condition with one of the sweet scones or decadent, chocolate-y muffins. In summertime, don’t underestimate the cooling power of Caribou’s blended frozen drinks---we like the passion fruit-green tea smoothie and the addictive vanilla coffee cooler. Free WiFi will please those from nearby offices hoping to catch up on work during their coffee breaks. |
