THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Carlucci Lincolnshire Restaurant Review

: Carlucci Lincolnshire is setting itself up as one of the premier Italian restaurants in this neck of the woods. The menu is a nice balance of comfortable classics (osso buco with risotto Milanese) and creative contemporary interpretations (pasta with lobster, pork loin with sun-dried cherry and orange sauce). The makeover of this dining room, with its ski lodge roof, must have presented a challenge to the designer, but he pulled it off beautifully. The main dining room is casual yet has a soft focus feel to it. Fabrics that traverse the high ceiling help, as does the carpeting. The bar area with its grand fireplace is comfortable and spacious. (I am pretty sure you would not see a TV set in a bar in Italy, but that's another story.) Service is efficient and personable but could use a bit of smoothing out. There's an excellent wine list and a number of beautifully appointed private party rooms.
