With an open, spacious and casual dining room near the United Center, this spot certainly courts Bulls fans. Meals begin with either ubiquitous dishes (fried calamari, crab cakes) or with lesser-knowns, such as buffalo chicken spring rolls. Among entrées, steaks are understandably the popular menu option. The filet is especially fine, as is the petite porterhouse --- both of which can be finished with garlic-herb butter, Dubliner cheese, blue cheese and the like. Orange-sesame-glazed salmon walks gingerly between good and first-rate. For dessert, the apple pie in a bag is really something, with its crumbly and rich crust; pineapple-coconut cake is pretty good, too. The wine list is composed in such a way that it's easy to choose, and the prices are attractive.
