Carrabba's Italian Grill Restaurant Review: The Italian approach to steaks and seafood informs this well-crafted menu, a consistent performer for a corporate-driven restaurant chain. Some good bets on the menu are calamari, fresh mussels in white wine, wood-fired pizzas and decent pasta dishes that sometimes have a bit too much on them but are always tasty. For main courses, check out the daily specials. The braised short ribs on risotto are surprisingly well done. Portions are ample. Steaks are quite good and there's some flexibility in the kitchen. Care to have your filet not Florentine but a la Marsala? They'll do it. The wine list has some good choices for this cuisine, and many are offered by the generous glass. This unit is one of the oldest in the metro Atlanta area, and is handy for attending performances at Spivey Hall. |
