| It may seem like all the tourists had the same idea when you are waiting for your table, but a satisfying meal and terrific service are worth the wait. There are always plenty of families with kids in tow, so servers have a little extra pizza dough on hand for the kids to play with at the table. Little ones don't have to settle for cheese pizzas; the kids' menu also offers ravioli, chicken and spaghetti with meatballs. You might want to start with the appetizer platter, a generous serving of calamari, the daily bruschette and fried mozzarella. You can go mainstream and opt for lasagna, manicotti, veal piccata or chicken Marsala, but we recommend the spiedino de mare, a grilled skewer of shrimp and scallops served with cavatappi amatriciana. Wines are mostly Italian, and are $10 off on Wednesdays. For dessert, you have options: go all the way with the sogno di cioccolata, a fudge brownie with a brush of KahlĂșa, chocolate mousse, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Or, walk on the lighter side with one of six bacino, mini versions of the restaurantâs featured desserts. |
