Whether your party includes a local politician or a table of noisy friends, you’re treated as if you’re a guest in a home. A wood-burning pizza oven, which produces thin-crust pies, and an open pasta kitchen anchor the homey setting. Large windows and walls adorned with Italian art wrap around the dining room, making every seat in the house feel like a good one. We never pass on the house salad with garlicky Parmesan dressing. Follow-ups could include the pappardelle Campagnolo with Italian sausage, sweet pepper, caprino cheese and pomodoro; or the linguine scampi Damian. Hearty steaks and chops please the meat-lovers, but adventurous diners will enjoy Carrabba’s specialties, including the Pollo Rosa Maria, a chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and Fontina and topped with a mushroom-basil butter sauce. Beer and wine only at this location.
