THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Casa Verde Restaurant Review:

A casual, well-priced offshoot of one of Singapore’s top tables, Les Amis, this al fresco café set in the island’s most central and bucolic green space starts every morning with comforting breakfasts like corn beef hash, house-made sausages and cinnamon french toast. The all-day menu includes hearty sandwiches, fresh salads, laksa, generous bowls of pasta and thin-crust wood-fired pizzas, also available for drive-thru takeaway and a specialty of the chef who moved here directly from a pizzeria in Venice. Desserts too are a specialty, thanks to the restaurant’s association with Canelé, a local sweets institution, and the wine list was worked up by Les Amis’ in-house experts and thoughtfully divided into eco-friendly (e.g. wines with screw caps instead of corks), for ladies (light bodied, fruit driven wines) and good value labels. Service deserves special mention both during the day when diners order at the main counter and in the evening when waitstaff take orders at the tables indoors and out. Throughout, the team is switched on and speedy. Also located at Gardens by the Bay, adjacent to mega development Marina Bay Sands.
