No castle on a hill, this artsy bungalow filled with a playful array of multicolored Oaxacan animal woodcarvings offers equally fanciful fusion cuisine. The menu includes a collection of creative and complex items, some mainstays and some seasonal. The eclectic cooking style offers a multitude of robust flavors on each busy-looking, festively garnished plate. We've enjoyed grilled beef tenderloin, accompanied not only by a classic bordelaise sauce but also an onion relish, thyme pesto, and foie gras butter. Adventurous eaters will also go for the moist Moroccan barbecue salmon with jicama-napa cabbage slaw. Roasted duck enchiladas with a pasilla-blackberry sauce is just one dish of many that we feel combines all the flavors of the Southwest.
