THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cava Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review

: A romantic dinner by the fireplace listening to the mellow strains of the live guitar player; a sophisticated celebration with fine wine and extraordinary food; or a cozy, home-away-from-home weekend brunch are all possible at Cava. This small, intimate spot in the heart of Montecito delivers exceptional dishes with a combination of Spanish and Mexican flair. The tastes vary from authentic paella to exceptional grilled salmon with mango salsa. Chef Onofre Zuniga assures the highest quality of each dish. Specialties include lobster tamales, sizzling fajitas and wild mushroom empanadas. To complement the delicious food and inventive presentation, the d├ęcor is simple, yet tasteful. Light colors and floral accents give the place its Latin flavor. Guests feel relaxed and comfortable whether in a coveted booth, or under the shade of a colorful umbrella on the patio. When enjoying one of the concoctions from the specialty drinks menu or trying to keep the kids busy, guests can entertain themselves by exercising their artistic talents on the paper tablecloths with the crayons provided on each table. Attention to details is very important to owners Leslie and Carlos Lopez and is most evident in the mini-pitcher, designed specifically for Cava, on each table that contains fresh boxwood, mint and a single rose. The attractive young wait staff, bartenders, and bus boys go out of their way to assure a quality dining experience for every guest.
