Cavey's Restaurant Review

: Upstairs, Cavey's presents Northern Italian classics in a cheery, sunlit setting; downstairs, elegant multi-course French dining awaits. In this candlelit parlor, you'll begin with an amuse-bouche that sets the mood for a romantic evening. The seasonally inspired menu offers little luxuries like smoked salmon crêpes and entrées such as roasted Atlantic cod with Maine lobster and lobster-beet velouté sauce or red wine-braised coq au vin. The Grand Marnier soufflé is a must if you're celebrating. Six- and nine-course tasting menus are available if your table would like to simply put itself in chef Tom Kaldy's capable hands. He oversees the Italian kitchen's hearty preparations, too, from grilled flatbreads and fresh pastas to house-made sausage on polenta with onions, peppers and marinara.
