 Cayton's Restaurant Review: The views are striking; the service is professional; and the food is courtesy of chef Michael Press and crew, who prepare dishes that are both innovative and faintly familiar. And while this is one of the more casual restaurants as The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, the brief menu is carefully crafted and well-executed. We suggest the seven saguaros Caesar, a take on the traditional salad that honors the towering cactus that frames the site. Entrées such as the dry-rubbed New York steak with chimichurri, Native American tepary beans and sautéed wild mushrooms takes advantage of many local ingredients. Round it all off with the whiskey-caramel apple cobbler for dessert. And don't bypass the chance to explore the wine program boasting thousands of offerings. |
