Cellar Gascon Restaurant Review: Chef Pascal Aussignac opened Cellar Gascon following the success of Club Gascon. This small, intimate annex offers an impeccable wine list (of course), plus very good cooking. Choose from a menu of small plates that might include baby squid salad with spicy sauce and crispy kale or carpaccio of scallops and seaweed tartare, or a meat option like Toulouse sausage and lentils or braised lamb shank Basque style. There’s a nice choice of vegetables, cheeses and desserts. Or go for the value lunch menu---£9.50 gives you a glass of wine, dish of the day and coffee; an extra £3 adds cheese or dessert.
