Central BBQ Restaurant Review: Located in a giant barn of a building, Central BBQ’s Summer Avenue location offers a little more elbow room than the ’cue joint’s flagship Midtown store. Messy ribs and piled-high pulled pork sandwiches dominate the menu, but Central also serves fiery hot wings (marinated, smoked, then fried), homemade potato chips with blue cheese dip, and a smoked portobello mushroom sandwich. The atmosphere is T-shirt casual, of course. You might even want to bring your own bib. Only beer is available to those imbibing. Desserts include cheesecake, a hot fudge brownie, or the cool and creamy peanut butter pie. |
