Central BBQ Restaurant Review:

Part of a locally owned chain of barbecue joints, the Summer Avenue unit of Central BBQ is characterized by its large dining room, which is much bigger than that of Central’s tiny flagship store in Midtown. Although best known for messy ribs and tangy pulled pork sandwiches (wet naps come in handy), Central also serves fiery hot wings (marinated, smoked and then fried), homemade potato chips with blue cheese dip, and a smoked portobello mushroom sandwich to keep the variety lively. The atmosphere is T-shirt casual, of course. You might even want to bring your own bib. Only beer is available to those imbibing. Desserts include cheesecake, a hot fudge brownie, or the cool and creamy peanut butter pie.
