Chace's Pancake Corral Restaurant Review: Flipping flapjacks since 1958, this delightful old-school, family-owned breakfast joint is a flashback to Bellevue’s early days. The décor is homey, or some would say, slightly shabby, but the service is friendly, and there’s always a wait on weekends. Don't let that stop you. The potato pancakes are legendary, as are the banana pancakes with coconut syrup and the pecan waffles. If you desire, order pancakes instead of toast with your eggs over-easy and bacon. The buttermilk pancakes, everyone's favorite, are fluffy and slightly doughy in a good way. Don’t ask for a latté or expect gourmet coffee at this classic diner with a heart of gold. |
