THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chaparral Room Restaurant Review:
The Chaparral at Marriott's Camelback Inn no longer draws the upper-crust crowd it used to, but it can still be pleasant enough, if you're in the mood for a step back in time. The restaurant as well as the resort was renovated in the mid-90s, but the Southwestern touches that make this restaurant charming are still in place. The Chaparral's atmosphere is now similar to a supper club, and the menu has also been updated but a few of the classics, such as lobster bisque and beef Wellington, remain. Nice views of Camelback Mountain's back side too.
