Although this grande dame isn't as popular as it used to be, it still draws an older, genteel crowd who like the classic Continental dishes that remain on the menu.

THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chaparral Room Restaurant Review

: The Chaparral at Marriott's Camelback Inn no longer draws the upper-crust crowd it used to, but it can still be pleasant enough, if you're in the mood for a step back in time. The restaurant as well as the resort was renovated in the mid-90s, but the Southwestern touches that make this restaurant charming are still in place. The Chaparral's atmosphere is now similar to a supper club, and the menu has also been updated but a few of the classics, such as lobster bisque and beef Wellington, remain. Nice views of Camelback Mountain's back side too.
