THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Charcuterie Restaurant Review:
A pleasant little café in sleepy downtown Sierra Madre, Charcuterie’s best seating is on the flowered, umbrella-shaded patio that wraps around the building. Inside, a small dining room is splashed with yellow paint, as refrigerated display cases showcase prepared salads and, of course, charcuterie. The lunch menu offers a wide range of salads, burgers and pastas. One of the best sandwiches is the “foghorn-leghorn,” in which breaded chicken breast, ham and Brie are layered with honey mustard on a brioche bun. Things get more interesting at dinnertime, when the kitchen turns out dishes like Cajun-seasoned ahi with ponzu sauce, filet mignon and pork loin with a chipotle-maple glaze.
