| Charlie's Kitchen is a rarity in Boston---a greasy spoon that's managed to not just age, but to age well. This two-story storefront sits on an always-gridlocked intersection of Harvard Square with all the wacky permanence of an isolated roadside diner. Inside waitresses with 'tude serve up the house specialty: double cheeseburgers alongside killer fries, shakes and plenty of suds. Despite the nature of the grub, diners tend to linger long after they've mangled their last fry. We're not disputing that decision. |
