| The full spectrum of Japanese fare---from sushi and yakitori to domburi and noodle dishes---is offered in this serene spot marked by a Japanese garden at the entrance. Seating is available in tatami rooms or at Western-style tables. Shigeru Yamada and his partners have years of experience, and it shows in this handsome honey- and plum-colored setting emblematic of clean Japanese design---not to mention the extensive selection of dishes. Four menus are presented at dinner: a list of nightly specials, yakitori (an array of meat, chicken and vegetables threaded on skewers and cooked on a special grill), a selection of sushi and sashimi and, finally, the printed bill of fare listing the many remaining dishes. Café Sushi in Troy is a sister establishment. |
