Chez André Restaurant Review:
Black-and-white-aproned waitstaff cater to regular customers in this old brasserie that opened in 1936. Two dining rooms display banquettes, copper bars and framed photos of American stars. The menu features daily suggestions as well as sound propositions, like foie gras, frogs’ legs, avocado tartare blended with meat crab and topped with grapefruit, and a finely cooked hearty veal rib accompanied by kidney beans. Desserts comprise traditional staples like chocolate mousse and vanilla cream. Numerous wines served by the glass, including Saint-Émilion and Pouilly-Fumé.
