THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chianti Ristorante Italiano Restaurant Review:

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem tucked into a suburban shopping center. Its dining room has more than a touch of elegance, with peach-hued walls covered with gilt-framed reproductions of Italian classics, and linen-topped, candlelit tables that are paired with comfy arm chairs. The chef-owner of Chianti hails from India, but he cooks as if he was born and raised in Milan. Appetizers, like calamari Luciani (sautéed in garlic, white wine and olive oil, with a splash of marinara added) is an excellent starter, ditto for scampi with wild mushrooms in a rich, creamy Champagne sauce. Pastas, like penne with basil and sun-dried tomatoes in a light goat cheese sauce, are deftly prepared, as are entrées such as grilled salmon in a Mediterranean-style herb sauce. Considering the quality, prices are extremely moderate.
