THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chicama Restaurant Review:

Douglas Rodriguez may have left, but Chicama is still the House of Rodriguez---Alex Rodriguez, that is (no relation). The Patria alum continues to turn out the zesty flavors and flattering interpretations of Latino dishes that the restaurant is known for. Ceviches are uniformly excellent, and other good choices include the grilled octopus on quinoa and adobo-rubbed steak with cabrales cheese. For such a bustling spot, service is downright caring. As you might expect, the wine list is heavy on Spanish and Latin American bottles and the specialty cocktails like the Pisco sour are delicious. The festive restaurant, housed in a unique space within ABC Carpet & Home, feels like it was imported from a tiny South American town with a stop in Disneyland. In fact, much of the beamed woodwork was taken from a Brazilian restaurant.
