THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED As if a delicious whole roast chicken for a good price isn’t enough, owners Cliff and Susan Woods have given their menu a Caribbean twist. As in fast-food places, patrons can order chicken pieces for a song, or a whole meal for a bit more. But unlike the big chains, Chicken! Chicken! marinates its birds in herbs and lemon or rubs them with a hot jerk seasoning, and you get them fresh off the rotisserie. Sides include a selection of salads (including new-potato salad and jicama coleslaw). Desserts are mediocre. You’ll find a good selection of beers and ales, including Red Stripe from Jamaica.
