| This chain draws families and a younger crowd to its colorful restaurants. The Tex-Mex theme is played out in Saltillo-tiled floors, Mexican-tiled tables, ceiling fans and artifacts. One running theme is coyote tracks strategically embedded in the floor tiles of every Chili's. The restaurants serve premium margaritas, and feature all the usuals---nachos, wings, black bean dip. Fajitas, ribs and chili dominate the menu, but you can get a veggie burger or grilled chicken too. For calorie counters, stick to the Guiltless Grill menu, which includes fat grams and calorie totals. If you’re not worried about your waistline, the chocolate chip paradise pie or chocolate brownie sundae await. Ask about dinner for two for $20 if you want to indulge for less. |
