 Sam and Louise Joyner purchased The Original Chocolate Bar from founder Karen Britain, and while dishes aren’t nearly as inventive and edgy as they were under the previous regime, they still promise some neat treats. We enjoy the little pot de crème, with its topping of a Tanzanian chocolate round spiked with black pepper. The wine list is neither deep nor wide, and precious space --- this is a small operation after all --- is used for some grocery store-type offerings, with the occasional surprise. A collection of mixed drinks, liqueurs and other libations and retail fine chocolate round out the offerings. Two Dollar Tuesdays offers a variety of items and quaffs for $2, while Wine Down Wednesday features specials on wine.
