 For a splurge and old-fashioned fine service, Christini’s is a sure bet. Chris Christini has been greeting his customers at his Southwest Orlando restaurant for more than four decades, and it’s consistently a top place to entertain upscale clients if you're on a business trip. Inside, the dark wood and luxurious fabrics evoke a bygone era of fine dining, and the attentive and knowledgeable servers further the upscale experience. There are no surprises on the menu, with Italian classics like prosciutto and melon and paper-thin beef carpaccio. The signature veal chop with fresh sage and Calvados, pan-seared Chilean sea bass and chicken Marsala are all standout entrées. Pastas range from rigatoni in a Parmesan fennel cream sauce with Italian sausages to a decadent fettuccine Alfredo. Sweet endings are Italian classics like tiramisu, cannoli and ricotta cheesecake. Christini's solid wine list includes an impressive range of French, American and Italian vintages, many by the glass.
