This funky and fun café, calling itself an American bistro, is going places, maybe even cloning nationwide. Clean and friendly, with an energetic staff who pay attention to details, the café specializes in such basics as hamburgers, nachos, spa dishes for lighter appetites, pastas, crêpes, salads, soups and a hot-hotter-hottest Cincinnati chili, the dish that may have inspired the name. This chili is so good it should be required eating, and it comes with or without beans, spaghetti, cheese and onions. Desserts and breads are made in the nearby bakery, and all sound gooey and caloric.
