Circle Sushi Restaurant Review: This small strip-mall restaurant offers sushi, sashimi and other traditional Japanese dishes. Even with pages of the usual inventive rolls notwithstanding, put your betting money on the sashimi---the white tuna is singularly delectable. Combination plates that allow a diner to choose a roll to accompany sashimi are value-priced. The appetizers hold some fine options, such as minced scallop tartare bound with spicy mayonnaise and served on a bed of matchstick cucumbers. A dab of masago finishes the picture. Miso soup seems less salty here than at other establishments, and benefits from the freshly diced white mushrooms that adorn its surface. Finally, there's a decent saké list, some good beers and not much in the way of wine. All-in-all, this is a decently priced, satisfying entry into the world of Japanese cooking.
