THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED If homey French-Continental cooking is what you’re craving, explore Citrus Café, owned by Andrew Paparella, Jr. He’s a seasoned chef, formerly of New York’s Fraunces Tavern and Las Vegas’ Olives at the Bellagio, but keeps things low-key and charming with lots of well-priced small plates and rustic entrées. Classic French comfort food favorites include pâté du jour, sweetbreads, beef bourguignon and lamb cassoulet. For dessert, there’s tarte Tatin with homemade cinnamon ice cream, frozen vacherin or roasted hazelnut crème brûlée. But the real highlights include the daily chalkboard selections, showcasing whatever market-fresh ingredients strike Paparella’s fancy.
