City Bar Restaurant Review

: Dark, sophisticated City Bar is the rare windowless room that really works, with a feel that’s equal parts Old and New Boston. Rich brown tones are offset by a striking bar back-lit by historic prints of the city. Cocktails, including a number of unusual infusions, are tailor-made to match the extensive bar menu of homemade potato chips, “really good” lobster soup and sliders three ways (natural beef, pulled pork and lobster). Main courses feature a flavorful bouillabaisse, braised boneless short ribs and pulled jerk chicken mac ‘n’ cheese, not to mention the massive City Table cheddar cheeseburger with golden fries.
