Clafoutis Restaurant Review: This is L.A.'s answer to a Parisian bistro. A part of the hip Sunset Plaza scene, the sidewalk tables make a great spot for people-watching. Inside, it's not uncommon to find a famous face noshing in a quiet corner. The cuisine celebrates the sunny Mediterranean, with Provençal and Italian influences dominating. You’ll find a little bit of everything on the menu, from gazpacho to escargots to fried calamari, before moving on to grilled ahi, chicken in Dijon mustard sauce or a rib-eye with fries. Finally, opt for a cheese plate to finish off your bottle from the respectable wine list, then a soufflé or tarte au citron. For brunch, the quiche and crêpes are a treat, but the real draw here is location. If there's a spot available, we recommend the back balcony which boasts a bird's eye view of the city.
