THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Club Cohiba Restaurant Review:
The shabby-chic Club Cohiba bar is all that remains of a once-promising culinary complex at this atmospheric hostelry; the associated restaurant, formerly the kingpin of the operation, has faded from the scene. The glassy, chandelier-studded table-seating area generally looks abandoned, and the menu has devolved from one laced with Latin offerings to a knee-jerk contemporary bar list with a few local touches. A tomato and goat cheese tart with roasted yellow bells, tenderloin on freshly baked bread with horseradish sauce---it would all sound just fine if you didn’t know what had come before. Classy cigars are now the equivalent of inventive entrées---and at the same price.
