Coast Cafe Restaurant Review:

Is there a more quintessentially Marin spot than Bolinas? The beloved secret of Marin, this seaside town just down the road from Stinson Beach is a fine day trip destination. Once there, it’s easy to fall for Coast Café on Bolinas' main (and only) drag. The straightforward menu features something for everyone, and most dishes are made with local and organically grown ingredients. Try the turkey Reuben loaded with freshly roasted turkey, sauerkraut and Russian dressing, or a burger made from locally raised beef paired with a creamy slaw or crispy french fries. The dinner menu is rounded out by a few other dishes, including oysters, fish stew and grilled rib-eye steaks, as well as soups and salads full of vegetables from nearby Star Route Farms. Good organic coffee, friendly (if slow) service and a genuine small-town vibe make Coast Café a nice escape.
