THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cochon Sauvage Restaurant Review:

A homey and pleasant French bistro from the Lachowicz brothers, who know their way around the kitchen. They are also the owners of Les Deux Gros in Glen Ellyn (a fancier, pricier establishment). The menu at Cochon Sauvage (savage pig) deals mostly with bistro classics blended with a creative twist or two. Dishes we loved include an Alsatian onion tart, tian Niçoise (Japanese eggplant wrapped around a filling of tangy goat cheese and ratatouille) and moules frites maison (mussels and frites). Profiteroles would be a pleasing way to end a meal. The dining room is on the smallish side, so the noise level gets up there when the place is full. Tables are paper over cloth, fresh flowers atop, nice tableware. The wine list is in tune with the bistro idea and the menu, offering prices that are not out of reach. Service is friendly and informed.
