Coffee Bar Restaurant Review: Though it’s hidden in an industrial corner of the city, Coffee Bar is one of the hippest places in town. The white walls and sleek décor inspire laptop dreams---and the place is often packed with workers buzzing away on their next project. Coffee Bar has breakfast and lunch menus. Try an artisan donut or steel-cut oats with dried currants and milk; for lunch, we suggest the White Crow sandwich (turkey, Brie, house-made cranberry sauce, romaine and red onion). Pair everything with a fine coffee or espresso drink---Coffee Bar's beans are sourced from Mr. Espresso, a family-owned and -operated company with a roasting facility in Oakland. Five Mountains tea, beer and wine are also served. |
