Colicchio & Sons offers a more casual dining experience in the Tap Room, which is located at the front of the restaurant. The tables are set up between the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the street and the bar with the tall, glass-enclosed wine rack behind it. While the main dining room of Tom Colicchio’s eatery serves dinner only, here you’ll find lunch, brunch and dinner. At lunch, guests can select two courses for $25 or three courses for $32. Dinner options range from the TC Burger with “drunk onions” and chips to roasted skate with brown butter and capers to pizzas with toppings like smoked mozzarella, fennel sausage and broccoli rabe. Brunch features some of these savory favorites along with morning fare like brioche french toast with bourbon butter and a goat cheese and roasted asparagus omelet. Desserts include the C&S Parfait with gianduja ice cream, hot fudge and caramel popcorn. This is the “Tap Room” after all, so be sure to browse the extensive list of American artisan brews. There are also beer flights exploring themes like “Where There’s Smoke” and “Make it Hoppy.”
